Hinderer for Long Beach City Council District 3 ("Campaign," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you visit becksforlb.com (the "Site") or interact with our campaign online.

•Register to volunteer: We collect your name, email address, and phone number.

•Make a campaign contribution: We collect your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, employer, and occupation, as required by the Long Beach Campaign Reform Act and the California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC).

•Contact us directly: We collect any information you choose to share in your message.

We do not use analytics software, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking integrations on this Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

•Send you campaign updates, event invitations, and newsletters (you may unsubscribe at any time).

•Process donations and issue contribution receipts.

•Coordinate volunteer activities and campaign outreach.

•Respond to your questions and requests.

•Comply with all applicable campaign finance laws, including mandatory reporting of contributions to the Long Beach City Clerk and the FPPC.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.

3. Political Campaign Requirements & Public Records

As a political campaign operating in California, we are subject to specific legal requirements regarding data collection and disclosure:

•Public Records: Under the California Political Reform Act and the Long Beach Campaign Reform Act, campaign contributions are public records. If you make a donation, your name, address, occupation, and employer will be reported to the City of Long Beach and the FPPC, and this information becomes part of the public record.

•Do Not Call Registry Exemption: As a political campaign, we are generally exempt from the National Do Not Call Registry. However, we respect your privacy and will promptly honor any request to be removed from our calling or texting lists.

4. Donation Processing

Campaign contributions are processed through our third-party payment processor, eFundraising Connections. We do not store your full payment card information. All financial transactions are subject to eFundraising Connections' own privacy and security practices.

5. Data Retention

We will retain your personal information for the duration of the campaign. If Rebecca Hinderer is elected to the Long Beach City Council, your contact information will be securely transferred and added to our official newsletter and SMS communications to keep you informed about District 3 updates. You may opt out of these communications at any time.

6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a resident of California, you have specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), subject to certain exceptions (such as data required to be maintained by campaign finance laws):
